DEVON, Pa.--The Devon Horse Show and Country Fair has released the official qualifying lists for 2023.
Known for its history and prestige across the country, the premier show is set to take place May 25-June 4 at the historic Devon Show Grounds and will host the top horse-and-rider combinations in the country, including international show jumping athletes.

The qualifying lists include all professional hunter sections, Junior/Amateur Hunter sections, Junior/Amateur Jumper sections, and Children’s/Adult Jumper sections.
The International Open Jumper list will be posted in the near future.

Mclain Ward, a four-time olympic medalist for the United States, has been a competitor at the Devon Horse Show for decades.
The $226,000 Sapphire Grand Prix of Devon was named after his legendary mare, Sapphire, after her passing in 2014.
Ward has successfully claimed the win in Sapphire Grand Prix 12 times.
The "King of Devon" has marked tremendous milestones at the Devon Horse Show and will be back again this year to continue his reign.
Boasting a 'Premier' Hunter rating by US Equestrian (USEF), the Devon Horse Show welcomes the foremost hunter riders each year as the event offers a range of hunter divisions for professionals, amateurs, juniors and pony riders.
In addition, the popular $25,000 USHJA International Hunter Derby is an exciting feature class that allows derby riders to showcase their talents in the Dixon Oval.
Hunter competition is further highlighted with hunter breeding and pony hunter breeding classes.
Victoria Colvin has ridden in the Dixon Oval aboard a string of talented hunters for many years.
Colvin had success early in her career at the Devon Horse Show, winning the "Best Child Rider" title five times and breaking a Devon record.
In 2019, she swept the competition with her mount Private Practice taking the overall Grand Hunter Champion title and the Leading Lady Rider title.
Earning the Leading Hunter Rider Award for the fourteenth time in his career in 2019, Scott Stewart has also made history at the Devon Horse Show and will be back in 2023 to contest among the country's best in the Dixon Oval.
Returning to the historic show grounds to shine in the professional hunter sections is California-based rider, Nick Haness.
Haness has piloted many classic hunters to scores in the 90's and tricolors at shows across the country.
His big win at the Devon Horse Show in 2016 was with hisl partner, Technicolor, comp;eting a clean sweep in the First Year Green Hunter division.
