WELLINGTON, Fla.--JJ Torano, at just 15 years old, has already amassed an amazing resume.

He's the youngest rider to win the championship, replacing George Morris, who had previously held that honor.
He has won two National Grand Prix at the Winter Equestrian Festival against top international competition.
He won the National Grand Prix on March 1, beating second placed top Irish rider Bartram Allen and third, fourth and sixth placed Olympians Laura Kraut and Karl Cook and Jessie Springsteen.
Most recently, it was announced on March 3 that Torano won the Show Jumping Hall of Fame Rider of the Month Award for February, and his mount, Jet Show Stable’s Vitus K, was named the winner of February’s Show Jumping Hall of Fame Horse of the Month Award.
A talented junior rider, Torano competes in the Show Jumping Hall of Fame Jumper Classic Series’ East Conference.
HE WAS a busy rider at WEF, riding a number of horses.
He started February off with a Series win on Vitus K in the $10,000, 1.45m Junior Jumper Classic at WEF 4.
One of his most successful outings was at WEF 6, where he rode to the only clear round in the $10,000. 1.45m Junior Jumper Classic on Good Mood Semilly for his second Series win of the month, and he also placed fourth in the class riding Vitus K.
A week later, he returned for another fourth-place finish in the $10,000, 1.45m Junior Jumper Classic on Concentalla PS and also finished eighth aboard Good Mood Semilly.
These top finishes enabled Torano to secure the Hall of Fame’s Rider of the Month Award for February.
Vitus K, ridden by JJ Torano, had consistent placings in the FEI and 1.40/1.45m Junior Jumper divisions.
They started February off with a Series win in the $10,000, 1.45m Junior Jumper Classic at WEF 4.
The pair then had a fourth-place finish in the $10,000, 1.45m Junior Jumper Classic during WEF 6.
Their strong performances throughout the month helped Vitus K secure the Hall of Fame’s Horse of the Month award and Torano the Rider of the Month award for February.
