While on vacation near La Cruz, Costa Rica, my husband and I were greeted every time we left our hotel room by a group of Black Howler Monkeys, who had taken up residency in the trees surrounding our resort," said Wisean. "Absolutely amazing to see them and hear them howl…could here them all the way at the other side of the resort!!"

Top left. "We adopted Maddie (and her BFF Misty) from a Craigslist circa 2008. They were being kept in a tiny urban backyard and the local authorities gave their owners a deadline to disperse of their tiny herd of two. I had to make a solemn promise to the owner that I wasn't going to eat them, and they rode the hour drive back home up the highway in the back of my Ford Explorer. Maddie was a fiesty Boer goat and would love to sneak up behind you and give you a quick butt to the back of the knees, then would trot off very pleased with herself. I have so many photos of her smiling, some even showing her teeth in a full cheesy grin, but this is one of my favorites showing her sweetest smile (trying to lure me in for more headbutts). She was in her glory living the country life with us here in Skippack and quickly became best friends with my OTTB Veto," saidFriel-Patton,

"She won the Cotillion Stakes at the Pennsylvania Derby, 2022, for a Million Dollars, she is a daughter of top sire Gun Runner," said Coath.

(On the left) "is of this year's number one winning Jockey, Irad Ortiz Jr.," said Coath "He is signing hats for fans as he comes down the stairs from the Jockey's area. He rode Tawny Port in the PA Derby, he did not place with the winners that day."

The Jockey (on the right) is Joel Rosario, another very famous Jockey," she said. "He rode Zandon in the Pennsylvania Derby, and placed second behind Taiba, ridden by Mike Smith."
