“For sure I didn’t want to go that speed, but the hunger got the better of me!” said Coyle, who is pointing Keep Me With You N.C. at Saturday night’s $100,000 Grand Prix de Penn National. “It’s nice to come back here. All the horses jumped well. It’s a great course to start today, and I’m happy enough."

Coyle selected the PNHS for Keep Me With You N.C., and four of his other horses, in order to get them experience indoors.
“Ariso has done indoors, but all the other horses, none of them have jumped indoors,” said Coyle “For Gold’s also here this week just for that reason. He hasn’t jumped indoors, and so this arena is perfect, good footing, good course.”
Caitlin Boyle on Chapka de Moyon won the $20,000 1.30m Welcome, marking their second consecutive victory this week.
Boyle won over a field of 34 entries. and of those 34, 10 qualified for the jump-off, where Boyle finished clean in 35.938 seconds.
Sarah Johnstone on Laszla was second, clean in 36.922 seconds, and Devin Ryan on Mondorado was third in 37.485 seconds.
“‘Chappy’ just came out with her a-game again, and I couldn’t have asked for more,” said Boyle. “She was just ready to take every distance, every turn. It feels wonderful, and I think we’re ready for tomorrow.”
Boyle will compete in Friday’s $30,000 Grand Prix.
Boyle’s father, Pat Boyle, has served as the show's’ competition manager since 2021, with her brother, Chris, also working on the show's team.
“It’s lovely to have the whole family here especially when I do well,” said Boyle, who rides for Beyaert Farm, based out of North Salem, N.Y. “They have loved watching me ever since I was starting many years ago. I don’t get to see them that often throughout the year, and they really rarely get to see me ride in person. Everyone’s very busy with their own things. This horse show and one other are really the only times that we all get to be together at a horse event. It’s really fun. It’s really nice to have everyone here.”
