DEVON, Pa.--Laura Chapot of Neshanic Station, N.J., one of the Devon spectator's favorite riders, will have at least two grand prix horses at the Devon Fall Classic as well as two sired by Gemini, the clone of the great show jumper Gem Twist.
Her sister, Wendy Nunn, will also be competing in amateur classes as well as one of Laura's students, Barbara Rochford.
The Fall Classic, Sept. 12-15, is back after missing a year, and spectators and riders alike are looking forward to it.
"We're so glad it's back," said Mary Chapot.
The featured competition is the $25,000 Devon Fall Classic Grand Prix, dedicated to Frank Chapot, on Saturday evening, which is the top class of the higher section of jumpers.
LAURA WILL have Thornhill Kate, who has won a grand prix at Lake Placid among many other victories, and Calafornia, who was won a grand prix at HITS and many classes at Lake Placid and other shows, competing in the $25,000 Devon Fall Classic Grand Prix.
The Zone 2 Jumper Championships is also featured at the Fall Classic.
The open jumper section includes classes at 1.00m, 1.20m, 1.20m, 1.30m and 1.40m.

At the Devon Horse Show and Country Fair earlier this year, Laura placed both first and second in a 7-year-old class, winning on Pursuit of Happiness, a bay gelding, and placing second on Timeless, a grey mare.
