Ryerss Farm cares for aged, abused or injured horses

POTTSTOWN, Pa.--Ryerss Farm does a wonderful job of caring for old and/or neglected horses, but to continue to do the great work they need they need help.

Ryerss 1At Ryerss Farm, their business is caring for aged, abused or injured horses, providing a home where they can spend their golden years out to pasture.

The horses at Ryerss are never worked, go to auction or are used for experiments.

They simply spend their days grazing and enjoying life with their friends, as part of the herd.

Ryerss is closed to tepublic now, but one way to help is a donation to sponsor a horse.

This is a fun way for individuals, families, and groups to help a horse.

For just $30 a month, you can sponsor one of their residents.

Stop by the farm and choose a horse you’d like to sponsor.

Go to Ryerssfarm.org  to find out more.

PRINT OUT a Sponsorship Form, fill it out and send it to Ryerss Farm along with your payment.

Ryerss 3You may choose a monthly, bi-yearly or yearly payment plan.

Another way to help is to be a volunteer at the farm.

Ryerss Farm and all its wonderful horses need YOU and your own unique gifts!

Please consider becoming a Ryerss Volunteer.

Your efforts will be rewarded many times over by the joy and personal fulfillment that comes with knowing that you are making a difference and helping a cause that you consider worthwhile!

Volunteers are very special people!

They come from all walks of life.

They may be retired or still working in careers outside of Ryerss.

They come to Ryerss because they love the horses.

Volunteers come in all ages, shapes and sizes!

They offer their talents, their ideas, and many times work tirelessly “above and beyond the call of duty” to see a job to the end.

Another way to help is with a donation of $3,000, with which you can honor or memorialize a loved one.

A brass plaque with your loved one’s name will be placed on the door of one of the stalls.

ATTENTION: FORMER OWNERS, SPONSORS & FRIENDS OF ALL RYERSS HORSES WHO HAVE “GONE ON TO GREENER PASTURES”

Ryerss has recently created a Memorial Plaque that will hang in the Ryerss Office hall near the Wall of Fame photos.

This plaque will be in honor of our past Ryerss residents – the horses who have lived here and given us all so much joy!

It will be a way for all to remember them, and for a modest minimum donation of $250.00, Ryerss invites you to have a brass plate on the plaque engraved with your beloved Ryerss horse’s name and a message, as well as your own name.
