Dear Editor,

Perhaps it is Baffert’s reputation, as a trainer with no heart who exploits his animals, coupled with the long overdue need for reform in the industry that provokes the NYT reporter to persist.

I would invite you to write about these issues as well as your continued defense of Baffert.

The Blood Horse, as an entrenched icon of the industry, is also questionable as a source.
