U.S. Jumping Team for the World Championships

LEXINGTON, Ky,--US Equestrian announced the riders and their horses selected to represent the U.S. Jumping Team at the 2026 FEI Jumping World Championships to be hosted in Aachen, Germany, from Aug. 11-23.

world ch teamJumping competition will begin on Wednesday, Aug. 19, and conclude on Sunday, Aug. 23.

The team will be led by Chef d’Equipe Robert Ridland and Team Leader Lizzy Chesson.

The following riders and their horses have been selected to represent the U.S. Jumping Team and are listed in alphabetical order.

Katie Dinan of New York, N.Y. on Out of the Blue SCF, a 2014 Belgian Warmblood mare.

Lillie Keenan of New York, N.Y. on Fasther, a 2010 KWPN gelding. 

Laura Kraut of Royal Palm Beach, Fla. on Bisquetta, a 2014 Zangersheide mare. 

Marilyn Little of West Palm Beach, Fla. on La Contessa, a 2015 Mecklenburger mare.

McLain Ward of Brewster, N.Y. on High Star Hero, a 2013 Belgian Sport Horse gelding. 

 

Competition Information

 

THE 2026 FEI Jumping World Championships will be the highlight of the international competition year and will be hosted during week two of the 2026 FEI World Championships Aachen.

Competition will begin on Wednesday,  Aug. 19, at 10:30 a.m., which is 4:30 a.m. Eastern with the faults converted Speed Round.

The first round of team competition will start at 10:30 a.m., which iis 4:30 a.m. ET on Thursday, Aug. 20, with the top 10 teams advancing to the second round.

The second round will be on Friday, Aug.221, beginning at 6:30 p.m., which is 12:30 p.m. Eastern, determining team medals.

Competition for individual medals will be on Sunday, Aug. 23,, starting with Round A at 2:20 p.m. ,which is 8:20 a.m. Eastern, and concludes with the final individual jumping round at 4:20 p.m., which is 10:20 a.m. Eastern, to conclude the two-week long championship.
