DEVON, Pa.--The Devon Fall Classic is a four day jumping competition and Fall Festival held at the historic Devon Horse Show grounds in Devon.
Laura Chapot, who placed first and second in the 2017 Devon Fall Classic Grand Prix, is returning to defend her title.
Other competitors who won in jumper classes include Lucy matz, daughter of thoroughbred rcehorse trainer and past top grand prix rider Michael Matz.
In addition to the thrilling competition, the Country Fair has over 30 vendors, live music, fabulous food and an exciting midway carnival!
The Fall Classic is held to benefit the Devon Horse Show & Country Fair Foundation.
On Thursday, Sept. 12, Opening Night features an all new midway with an extra large ferris wheel, delicious food by Wild Blue Creative Catering, over 35 vendors, and lots of fun!
On Friday, Sept13, enjoy Yappy Hour.

It's a perfect evening for you and your pup.
Yappy Hour tickets are $20 and that includes free admission to the grounds, special seating in the Picnic Grove, and two drink tickets for wine, beer or a cocktail, a special doggie goodie bag and a raffle of pup related items.
Tattered Flag Brewery & Still Works, White Horse Winery and Thistle Finch will be on hand all weekend for craft beer, wine and distillery tastings.
Bar Spoon Beverage will be doing tastings of their great craft mixers in Picnic Grove Gazebo.

Images by IBA, LLC will be on-site with a booth providing mini portrait sessions during Yappy Hour from 5 to 7 p.m., and you can download your pooch images instantly.
Friday evening entertainment includes live entertainment by Knock One Back, featuring great Rock 'n' Roll and Motown hits from 6:30 to 10 p.m.

On Saturday, Sept. 14, check out the First Annual Chili Contest from 2:30 to 4 p.m. in the Pavilion.

by Wild Blue Creative Catering and includes eggs Benedict, fluffy scrambled eggs, bananas Foster, French Toast with warm caramel sauce and whipped cream, Quiche Lorraine with bacon and Swiss cheese, whole poached salmon with cucumber dill sauce and topped off with fresh seasonal fruits and small desserts!

Sunday is Kids' Fun Day!
Join the Fall Classic in Anniversary Square from 12t o 2 p.m. for a fantastic Kids' Day!
Thee are pony rides from 12 to 2 p.m., arts, crafts, a Special Craft by Paper Source and much more!
No special ticket needed to enter the grounds.
There will be a plant sale after the last class at approximately 5:00pm.

There's an all new Midway that will be open starting Thursday evening at 5:00 p.m.
The Midway hours of operation are Thursday, 5:00 to 9:00 p.m., Friday, 5:00 to 9:30 p.m., Saturday 12:00 to 9:00 p.m., and Sunday ,11:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m.
