Amy Pippin of Line It Up is dedicated to training horses and students

Amy Pippin is a lifelong horsewoman who has dedicated the last 30 years to training and educating horses and students.

Pippin 1She is a pony club and 4-H alumni and teaches students of all ages and abilities.

Her focus is to provide a safe, supportive and educational environment for the rider and horse to cultivate a partnership and work together to accomplish their goals.

Amy's lessons are taught primarily from a biomechanical perspective, working with students who may have struggled with traditional lessons in the past to build confidence and encourage resilience.

Riding is a complex skill that involves balance, coordination and an understanding of the horse’s movements.

Pippin 2I break down the elements of riding into manageable segments, emphasizing the significance of body position, leg aids and rein control.

Teaching students how to handle a horse on the ground is also important and lays the groundwork for confidence in the saddle.

At Line it Up we prioritize safety, mastering techniques and fostering a strong instructor-student bond.

We guide students on their journey to develop a strong rider-horse relationship and to become confident equestrians.

Pippin 3Riding is not just about the ride.

Students not only develop skills, but also learn to trust and value their relationship with the horse both in and out of the saddle.

Our equine programs are great for students who want to ride for recreation or who are interested in competing at local shows.

At Line it Up we offer a verity of programs including weekly riding lessons, IEA, year round camps, on and off-site horse shows, and other educational programs.

Line it Up is a participant and host of the local Triangle Show Series offering Hunter equitation, jumper, and Dressage shows year round!
