Wertheimer et Frere's homebred Ambitieuse won a $28,000, 11/16 mile Allowance race for mares 4 and up at Tampa Bay on April 2 by a neck, and she now has two wins, one second and one third from eight starts.
Team Valor, et al's Hurricane Dream (Fr) won a $140,000, 1 1/16 mile turf Allowance for 4 year olds and up BY 4 1/2 lengths at Keeneland on April 7 in his second start in this country after racing in stakes in France.
Highclere Throughbred Racing's Royal Patronage (Fr) won a $43,000, 1 1/16 mile turf Allowance for 4 year olds and up by a neck at Keeneland on April 20 in his fourth start in this country after racing in stakes in France.
Eclipse Thoroughbred Partners and Albert Frassetto's The Grey Wizard won a $120,000, 1 1/2 miles turf Allowance for 4 year olds and up by 1 1/4 lengths at Keeneland on April 27 and is now multiple stakes placed with three wins and three seconds from 10 starts.
ANDREW STONE'S Clitheroe (GB) won a $95,000, 7 furlong turf Allowance for fillies and mares 3 and up by a neck at Belmont Park on May 7.
There was a 16 minute delay in the race due to the wrong tack being placed on Clitheroe, and then Candle was fractious and broke loose, requiring a late scratch.
This was Clitheroe's first race in this country after racing in stakes in France and Great Britain.

Houghton also claimed Edward Madden for Edward J. Madden after the 3-year-old gelding won a $10,800, 6 furlong Claiming race at Penn on April 19,
MICHAEL MATZ saddled Baoma Corp.'s Sapphire Star to win a $44,000, 6 1/2 furlong Maiden Optional Claiming race for 3-year-old fillies by 5 lengths at Gulfstream on April 8.
