Pets & Pest Control

Darlene Latshaw's Grey Mare Health & Wellness, Inc. offers rejuvenation (2)

Grey Mare Health & Wellness, Inc. offers rejuvenation for body and soul to help equestrians hustle and thrive!

D Latshaw 1As Equestrians, we’re undoubtedly blessed to spend our lives with horses, but it’s not an endeavor for the faint of heart…it’s a life often filled with long hours and hard work!

For some, their days are filled with managing a farm, teaching lessons and training and caring for horses, often late into the evening.

Others spend long hours in front of their computer, hit the gym before or after work, and then make time to ride and care for their horses.

And of course, there are household responsibilities, meals to shop for and prepare, family activities, the list goes on- It’s a giant balancing act and, I know from experience, it can be exhausting!

Over the years, I recognized the importance of offering my clients healthy options to improve energy and focus, to help them sleep well, to control stress, maintain a healthy weight and boost their immune system.

D Layshaw 2As some of you know, for many years, I’ve offered massage therapy and Magnawave / pemf, for both horses and equestrians.

In 2018, I completed an Integrative Nutrition Health Coaching certification, and I’m pleased to announce that I’ve recently added a nutrition assessment option to my list of services.

And of course, I’m coupling that with a high quality line of products perfect for hard working equestrians!

D Latshaw 3The sports nutrition line I’m offering is comprised of organic, real food (not synthetic!) ingredients that can be traced from seed to package.

It addresses daily nutrition, hydration, healthy digestion, immunity, stress relief, good quality sleep, improved energy and amazing skin care !

D Latshaw 4I’m excited to share these new options with you!

I’ve been a horse owner and avid equestrian since childhood and I know the importance of making your health and well-being a priority so you can enjoy the life with horses that we all dearly love!

For years, Essential Equine has earned the trust of horse owners across the country with a line of premium, veterinarian-formulated products that prioritize natural healing, performance, and long-term well-being.

Essential E 1From our iconic German Horse Muffins to our beloved natural fly sprays and grooming essentials, we have made it our mission to deliver care that is both effective and thoughtfully crafted.

What truly sets our products apart is our targeted use of therapeutic essential oils—nature’s most powerful healers.

Carefully selected for their proven benefits, these plant-based oils provide a natural yet potent alternative to synthetic ingredients.

Australian Tea Tree Oil is a standout ingredient in our formulations.

Known for its antibacterial, antimicrobial, and antiviral properties, it is also a natural antifungal and insecticide.

It helps reduce inflammation and triggers the activity of white blood cells essential to the healing process.

Goldenseal Oil, one of the top five selling herbal products in the U.S., brings remarkable benefits as a natural antibiotic, anti-inflammatory, and topical insect repellent.

Essential E 2It promotes skin regeneration and closure through its antiseptic effects.

Myrrh Oil is a powerful agent in combating Staph infections.

Naturally antibacterial, antifungal, and anti-inflammatory, it promotes faster healing by increasing white blood cells around skin wounds.

It also acts as an astringent, helping to reduce hair loss.

Eucalyptus Oil contributes broad-spectrum antimicrobial action, reducing inflammation and soothing skin irritations like bug bites.

Its natural analgesic qualities also make it a gentle yet effective pain reliever.

This holistic approach, combining modern science with time-honored botanicals, has redefined how animals experience everyday wellness.

Essential E 3Now we are proud to bring this same trusted care into the home.

Launching this July, Essential Canine introduces a new line of naturopathic products made specifically for dogs; whether bathing, aiding in skin care, or just helping tails wag a little harder, our canine collection brings these essentials to your best friend at home.

Follow us as we grow from stable to sofa because your animals deserve the best, no matter the species.

With Buggzo’s convenient 1 to 2 ounce serving size, you won’t experience any sorting, sifting or sneezing (you or your horse).

Buggzo 2Your horses will love it and the bugs will stay away—that’s guaranteed!

What A Good Dog

Joe Brewer creates pet portraits and awesome smiles

Pet Portraits by Joe Brewer is a business started by Joe's love for animals and his ability to capture their personality.

Brewer 1These portraits are hand-drawn by Joe Brewer, using photos sent to him by the customer.

Joe works with pastel on an 800 grit UArt Art sandpaper board.

The portrait is then matted with a high-quality acid free mat.

Joe and his wife Rosemary started this "second act" together back in 2018 after Joe retired, alongside of their Golden Retriever Malia, a rescue from South Korea.

Brewer 2Purchasing a portrait is a unique experience, not just acquiring a pet portrait but rather having an experience.

When the portrait is complete, Joe loves to do a reel, incorporating the pet and posting on Instagram.

"We don't just paint pets but we create awesome smiles!"

Joe will send customers a pencil sketch layout for them to approve, and when he begins the artwork he will send the customer a "Sneak Peek" from the drawing board for their "thumbs up" on color and details.

Breweer 3Customers appreciate this personal interaction.

Gifting a portrait is another option, with Joe providing a certificate to be gifted to a friend or loved one.

After receiving the certificate, the pet owner can then work with Joe, providing photos and approving the layout for the portrait.

This is not just a job for Joe and Rosemary, but it is a passion to see customers thrilled to have their pet's portrait on the wall, or for them to gift a portrait to a loved one.

Memorial portraits are popular as well.

Fly Off My Horse all-natural insect repellent products for people and animals

PILOT MOUNTAIN, N.C.--My journey into all-natural insect repellent products was as unexpected as it was eventful.

Flyoff 1It first began when I moved to the Southeast from Texas with my three horses in 2015.

The bugs in the summer were at plague level proportions that the four of us were just not used to.

My horses began having severe skin issues, and every fly spray I tried either did not work or made my horses break out in hives.

A couple years later, I discovered the Fly Off My Horse Equine Fly Spray formula.

It made a significant difference in my horses’ quality of life as it repelled insects well with no adverse effects.

I continued to use it for years without ever thinking about turning it into a business.

Fast forward to 2023 when I got a new farrier, and he asked me about selling it.

Flyoff 2He loved how well it worked and how it helped his son who was allergic to the chemicals used in traditional fly sprays.

That was the beginning of what would become Fly Off My Horse, LLC.

In a twist of fate, as I was launching Fly Off My Horse in the spring of 2024, I became very ill with four diseases from a tick bite.

As I struggled to recover, I became even more passionate about creating all-natural insect repellent products for people and animals that are effective and safe.

Fly Off My Horse, LLC currently offers six insect repellent products.

Two for horses, and four for people.

They are all 100% all natural ingredients.

Flyof 3For horses, we have our Equine Fly Spray and Equine Insect Repellent Ointment, a fantastic multi-purpose salve that repels, protects, soothes, and helps heal.

For people, we have a Bug Spray, Bug Spray with Shimmer, Insect Repellent Body Butter which is perfect to put on in lieu of lotion when you’re going to be outside where there are bugs, and an Insect Repellent Sunscreen for those who need both sun protection and insect repellent.

We are constantly receiving feedback from our customers to improve our products and to develop new ones.

Give Your Dogs A Safe Space With Blue Mountain Welding

NEWBURG.Pa.--Blue Mountain Welding is a family-owned business located in Newburg Pa.

Blue Mt 1Established in 2006, we are a manufacturer of Doors, Grills and Accessories for Horse Stalls, along with having an Aluminum division making Gable Sliding and Swinging Doors and Dutch Doors for Horse Barns, Garages, Pole Buildings, and Storage Sheds.

Now we are adding Dog Kennels to our product list.

Using some of the same heavy materials that we make the horse stalls with; we will customize them according to your needs.

Unfortunately, we do not have photos to show you as we are still in the beginning stages of marketing our line of kennels.

Our Kennel Fronts will have Stainless Steel Hinge Pins, and Stainless Steel Latches that you can open from both sides.

Our Kennel Dividers can be made with glass inserts.

Blue Mt 2A few of the reasons we designed them with glass, 1: Using glass will leave a small gap all around, which leads to more airflow through your kennel. 2: So your dogs can look at their neighbors instead of having a solid wall on both sides of the interior area and to make cleanup a lot easier for you.

If the clear glass does not work for your dogs, we can frost the glass so they cannot see through it.

All our manufactured products are sand blasted, primed with a zinc primer, and powder coated with a durable finish that can be washed down to keep everything clean.

We strive to provide a product that exceeds your quality expectations as well as being fully functional and matching your dream project perfectly.

Our goal is to give immediate attention to every customer and get quotes and product out as soon as possible.
