DEVON, Pa.--The Devon Horse Show and Country Fair just announced that it has doubled the prize money in the Devon Fall Classic's Friday evening's Speed Stake from$5,000 to $10,000.
Exciting news for those exhibitors who look forward to competing in the all-jumper show every fall.
As this is an all jumpers show, the Fall Classic offers many classes for all levels of competitors, whereas the spring Horse Show and Country Fair only has FEI rated classes for the most elite riders.
The prize list will be out soon, so get your entries in early to enjoy showing in the famous Dixon Oval in front of the always enthusiastic Devon spectators.

Six-seat boxes are $375 for all four days, including parking. Individual seats range from $8 (Thursday and Sunday) to $20 (Friday and Saturday), and tickets are available at the gate, online, or by calling the ticket office at 610-688-2554.
The 11th Annual Devon Fall Classic, an all-jumper show, will be held Sept. 12 -15.
THE FALL CLASSIC isn't just an exciting event for exhibitors, it's also exciting for spectators, as along with the competition in the Dixon Oval the show includes live music, boutique shopping, dining, amusement rides, and more.

The Dixon Oval will host the $5,000 Open Jumper Welcome Stake Thursday evening, and the $10,000 Speed Stake Friday evening.
Saturday evening features the $7,500 Show Jumping Hall of Fame Junior/Amateur-Owner Jumper Classic and the highly anticipated $25,000 Devon Fall Classic Grand Prix.
Exhibitors as well as spectators can enjoy boutique shopping from more than 50 exclusive apparel, home decor, gourmet food, jewelry, and candle purveyors, the midway that includes the Ferris wheel, merry-go-round, and kids' most-anticipated games and plush prizes and food for every palate.
The show will also be available to an international audience through its live stream to 57 countries on the USEF Network.
