DEVON, Pa.--The Devon Horse Show and Country Fair announced this year’s class of “Devon Legends” who will be honored at a black tie event held at the historic Merion Cricket Club in Haverford, Pa., on Saturday evening, Oct. 15.

This year’s prestigious list includes Olympians, national champions, and other luminaries connected to the success of the DHSCF.
Wayne W. Grafton, DHSCF Chairman and CEO is thrilled to pay tribute to these inductees during this special evening event which will feature dinner, live music, and dancing.
“This year’s class of Legends continues to exemplify an extraordinary group of equestrians, stewards and supporters who have not only been shining lights in their disciplines but immense champions of the Devon Horse Show and Country Fair. We are honored to celebrate their contributions to the sport and the community,” said Grafton.
THE 2022 CLASS includes Show Jumping riders Anne Kursinski, Todd Minkus and Jimmy Torano as well as Hunter riders Robin Bacon Greenwood, and Scott Stewart.
Susan Sisco and Priscilla Denegre will represent Side Saddle.
Rodney Hicks, Isabel Robson and Karen Waldron will be this year’s Hackney and Saddlebred legends, while Lore Homer, Misdee Wrigley Miller and Harvey Waller represent the Coaching division.
Capt. Mark Phillips will be lauded on behalf of his work within the Arena Eventing discipline and course design.
The final group of Legends being honored feature highly distinguished supporters who have worked diligently to improve and grow the Devon Horse Show and Country Fair, including Edith R. Dixon, Harry Gill and Jane MacElree.
This year’s legends will join the inaugural 2021 class of Laura Chapot, Joe Fargis, John E. Franzreb III, Patricia Heuckeroth, Alan Keeley, Leonard A. King Jr., Peter Leone, Paul Z. Martin Jr., Michael Matz, Mrs. J. Maxwell Moran, Ed Ochsenschlager, Richard L. Ridge, Jimmy Robertson, Donald Rosato, Louise Serio, McClain Ward and John White.
