MALVERN, Pa.--Malvern Bank launched its Equestrian Division in 2017, and the passion that birthed this business came from the top of the Bank, President, and CEO Anthony C. Weagley, and extends throughout the bank to other executives and team members.
Tony WeagleyWe feel that this connection, makes us uniquely qualified to understand the complexities within the equestrian business including challenges you must sometimes truly live in order to fully grasp.
Malvern Bank’s Equestrian Division – and all Bank employees – would like to congratulate our leader, Tony, who is part owner of Blue Mountain Quarter Horses, and Delbert Hostetler on their 2022 NSBA World Championship title.
Simply Statutory, a homebred filly, won the coveted title in Tulsa, bringing home the prestigious belt buckle and trophy.
Blue Mountain Quarter Horses, a boutique breeding farm in Slatington, Pa., has made a name for itself in the show pen.
Delbert has always been interested in bloodlines, producing his own line of Quarter Horses which also show in the Halter classes.
Simply StatutoryEarly on, Delbert believed Simply Statutory wouldn’t have the height needed to be competitive in the future in Halter, so he asked his trainer, Kristy Lee Smith, to break her under saddle.
The filly showed in Performance Halter, Ranch Riding, Ranch Trail and Barrels this year at the NSBA World Show.
Simply Statutory is a special horse, and she truly shows what a versatile breed the Quarter Horse is.
Tony, Delbert, and Kristy - Congratulations on being 2022 World Champions!
