This elegant event came at the end of the 125th anniversary year as Devon looks forward to welcoming the community back to the 126th year anniversary after two years of cancellation due to the pandemic.
Kicking the evening off with a welcome cocktail reception on the veranda, the gala was blessed with perfect weather. During and following dinner, attendees danced to the beautiful sound of the Jack Faulkner Orchestra.
The live and silent auction assisted in raising additional funds during the occasion.
THE SILENT auction was centered through an online platform to ensure that those who could not be in attendance could still bid on items such as golf packages, sporting event tickets, artwork, jewelry, and more.
The live auction featured a number of prizes, including the esteemed Land Rover Experience Weekend and other travel packages.
“This event was the perfect capstone evening to complete our 125th anniversary year as we approach the start of our 126th show," said Grafton. "Through the overwhelming support of our sponsors, volunteers, and gala attendees, the evening was a financial success for the foundation, a 501c3 organization. Funds from this event are earmarked towards ground improvements to ensure the elasticity and tradition of the Devon Horse Show and Country Fair for generations to come.”
