Kevin Babington familyThis fundraiser is for our dear friends Kevin and Dianna (Flaherty) Babington and their teen aged daughters Gwyneth and Marielle.

Kevin, an accomplished Olympic equestrian, was competing at The Hamptons Classic in August 2019 and was thrown from a horse suffering catastrophic spinal cord injuries and is now unable to move.

As you can imagine, the medical bills and family needs are already enormous and will continue to mount as the family income stream has now been substantially impacted.

IT'S BEEN A while since I sent an update about Kevin.

He is working as hard as he always did with his horses at his physical therapy and it is paying off, albeit slowly.

Right now, he is at the Mayo Clinic with Dianna awaiting what everyone hopes will be the miracle treatment we all dream of for him.

Dianna posted a video of Kevin showing him able to lift one of his arms and to wriggle his toes.

We are patiently awaiting Friday’s treatment. I

t is painful just sitting around.

There is literally nothing to do but eat.

Kevin misses watching the horses from his porch, the kids and the dogs but he is in top spirits.

We took a little pre- treatment video so we can look back and hopefully be astonished by improvement.

That is our wish. .........
