Samantha is learning to be a Service Dog for Kevin Babington

BURLINGTON, Mass.--Jeff Papows, President & CEO of Silve Oak Jumper Tournament, wrote a letter pointing out that Puppies with a Special Purpose,  one of which will help in Kevin Babington’s recovery, need help.

puppy"We are very excited to have the opportunity to help the organization, and we're asking people to become a puppy raiser and help change a human life.“

Kevin Babington will receive Samantha as a service dog, and currently Samantha is living with her puppy raiser, Lindsay.

Samantha is a Canine Support Teams (CST) Service Dog in Training for Kevin Babington.

She is currently with her puppy raiser, Lindsay Brock, and over the next 18 months, Lindsay will care for her, train her on basic commands, and most importantly, ensure she is well socialized to people and to horses, to get her started on the right "paw" to becoming a CST Service Dog.

Samantha will return to CST after this period of time, and then receive several months of advanced training, until she is ready to live with Kevin and assist him with his daily activities.

ABOUT A month ago there was a bit of good news from Dianna Babingon.

She said thre was finally some positive news.

"This week Kevin had the ability to move his middle finger on his left hand very slightly but you could see it was at will," Dianna. "Also, tonight when I was adjusting/cleaning the tube in his bladder he could sense it and has been getting some slight sensation a little bit lower in his abdomen.

"These are small but positive signs that we are still moving forward with recovery!," said Dianna. "Please keep him in your thoughts and prayers if you pray. He really is giving it everything."

Papows continued to say that Canine Support Teams, Inc., needs help.

They need more Lindsays and there are more Kevin’s out there who need their love and help.

Currently, they have graciously received a litter of pups, and are urgently in need of puppy raisers to be able to serve more deserving folks.

Would you or someone you know be interested in becoming a puppy raiser for Canine Support Teams?

If so, please contact Max Bingley, Puppy Raiser Instructor at This email address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it. for more information.

We guarantee you, your contribution will change someone's life, just like Samantha will do for Kevin.

And for the record my vote is Samantha is going to be one lucky pup to have my friend Kevin at her side.
