Aiken Steeplechase, scheduled for March 21, announced on March 15 that it is cancelling its spring meet.
That action follows the cancellations of the Carolina Cup on March 28 and the Tryon Block House Races on April 11.
Maryland Governor Larry Hogan has issued an emergency order to close all Maryland casinos, racetracks and simulcast betting facilities to the general public indefinitely.
That closure begins Monday, March 16 at midnight.
The US Eventing Association Board of Governors voted to suspend recognizing any competitions under its direct jurisdiction held in the U.S. at the Beginner Novice, Novice, and Training levels for a period of at least two weeks (14 days) starting on Monday, March 16.
The suspension extends also to USEA recognized educational activities, Young Event Horse, Future Event Horse and New Event Horse competitions.
The Fork 3-day event, scheduled for April 2-6, has also announced that it is cancelling its event.
Parx Racing has cancelled racing, while most other tracks continue racing but without spectators.
