HARRISBURG, Pa--If there is one thing in common among the horse community, the magnetic pull to a tack shop or tack sale is something one just cannot avoid.
The 2nd Annual PARR Rescue Tack Swap and Charity Fundraiser will be taking place on Saturday April 13th from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. at 770 Piketown Road, Harrisburg, Pa., 17112.
There were over 50 vendors and tack tables last year, making the event a fun tack-emporium for all equestrian enthusiasts.
THIS EVENT offers food, door prizes, Chinese and silent auctions, networking, fresh baked horse and dog treats for sale, and lots and lots of tack and horse supplies for sale.
The event proceeds benefits PA Racehorse Rehoming, Rehabilitation, and Rescue, a 501(c)3 Non-Profit Organization that helps retired racehorses rehabilitate from injuries and surgery, retrain for new careers, and find new loving homes or long-term sanctuary at the PARR Farm in Harrisburg.
Founded and run by passionate equine veterinarian, Dr. Kathryn Papp, “PARR” is volunteer run, always putting the horses first.
