Horse and Hound Gallery and Catalog was established in 1986 by Barbara Klausner, a lifelong lover of horses and dogs.

horse hound 1While her original business was a bricks and mortar gallery and its mail-order catalog, the explosion of the internet transformed it into an online resource for equestrian décor and fine gifts.

Today, Barbara and her staff are constantly searching out new products for horse, fox and dog lovers.

She has to laugh when she reflects that in the early days, it would take seven to 10 days to have a new product appear on the website; now, it takes only seconds.

And that’s not been the only change.

As the catalog evolved, so too did the lives of her longtime canine companions.

horse hound 2Her Standard Poodles were able to quit their day job as gallery managers and indulge in athletic competition.

When not at work, Barbara, Phipps and Razzle compete in AKC agility at the national level (the dogs are the stars, and their owner … hangs in).

Recently, in keeping with society’s return to handwritten notes and holiday cards, Horse and Hound’s paper collection has expanded to cover all aspects of correspondence.

horse hound 3This year’s Holiday Cards make up the largest collection in the history of the company—not only impressive in its numbers, but also for its uniqueness.

Among the featured images are the works of sporting artist Celeste Susany and the charming animal designs of Mary Lake-Thompson.

horse hound 4There are truly beautiful cards in all sizes and styles.

After 30 years, Horse and Hound is proud to remain true to its tradition of quality and creativity.

From fine etched crystal to stocking stuffers, the online catalog reaches out to all who love and enjoy the Horse and Hound lifestyle!

Classic Legacy: Handcrafted Equestrian Gifts

By Catherine Tatum, Designer and Founder of Classic Legacy

Legacy 1As a designer of custom gifts, I’ve always admired the beauty of horses.

That lifelong admiration inspired my Equestrian Hunter Jumper Collection at Classic Legacy.

I also create custom gifts with logos or art.

Legacy 2In my Germantown, Tenn., studio, each Classic Legacy piece is carefully created by hand.

Gifts include crystal decanters, bourbon glasses, wine accessories, desk accessories, and jewelry.

I believe fine gifts should tell a story, and my goal is to capture the elegance of horses in every piece.

This year, I was honored to design a custom line of equestrian-themed gifts for the Montpelier Hunt Races, one of America’s most beloved and historic races.

Our Hunter Jumper Collection includes distinctive items such as wine accessories, marble coasters, cheeseboards, crystal decanters, and glassware.  Legacy 3These gifts are ideal for riders, horse show prizes, event sponsors, or anyone who treasures the horse world’s traditions.

Classic Legacy serves both wholesale and retail clients.

Legacy 4We often create custom collections that feature logos, horse show insignias, or other personalized emblems.

It’s a joy to see our handcrafted pieces become part of so many riders’ celebrations and milestones.

After 40 years as a designer, I’ve learned that craftsmanship and heart never go out of style.

My equestrian gifts are more than beautiful objects—they’re tributes to a way of life that values grace, hard work, and connection.

Your #1 Choice for Equine Colic Relief

Colic is still the one thing horse owners fear the most.

Eq. ColicOwners with Equine Colic Relief in their bag don’t have that fear anymore.

They know they can just reach into their bag and pull out a bottle that can stop a bout of colic in an average of only 90 minutes.

Sand colic cases can take up to two hours more, but it can be stopped just as easily and reliably.

Of course, nothing but surgery can save a horse with a twisted or telescoping gut or for stones and gravel for that matter.

But it works great for the most common forms of colic such as Impaction, Gas, Spasmodic, and Sand Colic without trauma, side effects, duress, or further pain.

If you only had one single health product to keep available for your horse, this should be it!

Stock several to keep in your barn and in your truck.

Many clients have saved their neighbor's horses simply because they ordered it and made it available to their friends.

Equine Colic Relief is a safe alternative with natural ingredients and an incredible FOURTEEN-YEAR SHELF LIFE.

It’s ready to work for you and your horse when you need it the most.

EC2Just remember that the fastest shipping in the world won’t be fast enough if your horse has a bout of colic without this.

Now you finally have a real alternative to just waiting for help to arrive.

Now you can take control and help your horse.

You are your horse’s number one advocate.

Your horse depends on you to make the right decisions.

We have all been ‘dreaming’ for an answer to equine colic.

So you can do the right thing now or else you could just keep on dreaming.
