DEVON, Pa.--Kevin Kohmann on Dünensee won the CDI-W Grand Prix Qualifier under the lights in the Dixon Oval on Friday evening, Sept. 27, the first official day of “Freestyle Weekend” at Dressage at Devon.
The CDI-W Grand Prix Qualifier was the final class of the day in the Dixon Oval, and Kohmann was the last rider to make his way down the centerline.
His performance was worth the wait because it took him to first place with a score of 69.761%.
Kevin was also the recipient of the BioStar Happy Horse Award which is awarded to those who promote horse welfare and exhibit a partnership that showcases happiness and harmony in the ring, regardless of placing.
Camille Carier Bergeron placed second on Finnländerin with a score of 69.435%
The class served as the qualifier for the CDI-W Grand Prix Freestyle which was the featured class on Saturday.
Ryleigh Koch riding Ruben D4K won the CDIJ FEI Junior Team, sponsored by Iron Spring Farm with a score of 67.071%.
Tina Konyot on Grover won the CDI3* FEI Grand Prix with a score of 70.087%.
