LOXAHATCHEE GROVES, Fla.--Sloane Coles and Diva De Talma was a tenth of a second faster than Alex Matz on Eelien to win the $5,000 1.30M Classic on March 22 at The Ridge.
Sloane Coles on Diva De TalmaOut of field of 16, only three were clean in the jump-off over a 1.30m course set by Juan de Dios Alvares that included a whale and dolphin oxer, whale tail in-and-outs, The Ridge's classic bicycle skinny, and a faux stone wall and pole combo.
The first clean in the jump-off was Alex Matz on Evelien, who finished in 39.143 seconds to eventually place second.
Darragh Kerins was the next on Heritage MBF, but was well of Matz's pace with a 44.561.
Coles on Diva De Talma however made quick work of Alvares' course, finishing in a time of 36.085 seconds.
Alex Granato, Samuel Parot Sr., and Samuel Parot Jr. all had one rail down in the jump-off.
