MANCHESTER, Vt.--Willie Tynan of Ireland dominated Open Jumpers at HITS Vermont Summer Festival in week two, winning the three most lurative classes, including the $40,000 HITS Gran Prix.
The Manchester Summer Festival was host to USEF Premier/4* Rated competition that featured a $1,000 Hunter Prix, a $2,500 Hunter Derby, a $25,000 Grand Prix, a $40,000 Grand Prix, and more exciting classes.
Kicking off the week in the Grand Prix Ring on Wednesday was Irishman Willie Tynan on Ballinteskin Joe who effortlessly conquered the $5,000 Manchester Designer Outlets Open Welcome with a clean round and a time of 37.208 in the jump-off.
Tynan, riding for MDM Equestrian Group, also finished in second place with Fenise, setting the bar high for success during his stay at the Vermont Summer Festival.
TYNAN dominated another featured Jumper class on Friday, finishing one-two-three in the $25,000 Grand Prix.
Once again demonstrating outstanding riding skill, Tynan showed three horses in the class and posted a double clear round in 38.63 aboard Ballinteskin Joe to take first place.
In second place was Tynan on Fenise, finishing clean in 38.767, and Tynan was also third onn Fancy Girl. cleanin 39.369.
Continuing their unstoppable winning streak in the Grand Prix Ring on Saturday, Tynan on Ballinesdkin Joe were victorious again in the $40,000 HITS Grand Prix, crossing the timers in 40.032 with no faults.
In second place was Amy Shafmaster on Casis, clean in 43.307, and third was Christian Coyle onLocato van het Kapelhof, the fastest four fasulter in 40.646.
