SANTIAGO, Chile--The U.S. Jumping Team had their first look at the main arena Monday afternoon to prepare for their week of competition to begin in Santiago.
The four team combinations of Karl Cook on Caracole de la Roque, Kent Farrington on Landon, Laura Kraut on Dorado 212, and McLain Ward on Contagious, with traveling reserve Lillie Keenan on Argan de Beliard, each took a turn jumping a short course and familiarizing their horses with the atmosphere before competition begins tomorrow.
The competition will be streamed via ClipMyHorseTV.
The order of U.S. combinations will be as follows with the class beginning at 10:30 a.m. ET.
Ward of Brewster, N.Y., on Contagious will go ninth in the order, at 10:46, followed by Cook of Rancho Santa Fe, Calif., on Caracole de la Roque in 19th, at 11:22, Farrington of Wellington, Fla., on Landon going 29th, at11:43, followed by Kraut of Royal Palm Beach, Fla., on Dorado 212 as the final combination for the team in 41st at 12:23.
The class will run in Table C format with faults converted.
